Mission statement
To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.
Achievement - recognizing and honoring high academic achievement
Character - preparing young people for life and empowering them to be successful
Leadership - developing the leaders of tomorrow
Service - demonstrating our motto: let us lead by serving others
What is Beta?
The National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. For more than 80 years, it has prepared today’s students to be tomorrow’s leaders.
Why Join Beta?
Beta Club is a character-building organization in every sense of the word. It provides leadership opportunities that students may not otherwise have and allows students to serve their community. Beta Club scholars also get to attend the National Convention to compete in leadership competitions. This year’s convention will be hosted in Savannah, Ga.
Beta Scholars can participate in the following competitions:
- Quiz Bowl
- Robotics
- Performing Arts (solo, duo, or trio)
- Engineering
- Debate
- Visual Arts (jewelry, painting, digital art, etc.)
Beta Club Qualifications
- 4-5th Grade student
- Performing at or above grade level on BOY iReady
- Received a level 3 or 4 in ELA or Math GMAS
- Teacher recommendation letter
- Demonstrate ROAR in and around the building
- Attend monthly meetings after school
- Have stellar attendance
