Parents & Teachers! We want you to run for election and make a difference at your student's school.
The SGC candidacy window opens February 2, 2026. Interested individuals can complete the Candidate Declaration Form for a 2-year term (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028). The declaration period closes on March 27, with voting scheduled for April. Learn more on the FCS School Governance Council website.

Provide feedback on the district’s parent and family engagement plan, on academic instruction and learning environment, and participate in an S-CLIP discussion. The application for the 2026-2027 Pre-Kindergarten Lottery opens January 12 and closes March 3, 2026.
To be eligible for the FCS Pre-K program, children must be 4 years old at 11:59 p.m. on September 1, 2026, AND ALSO reside within the FCS Attendance Zone.

At College Park Elementary, our scholars' uniforms are a vital part of fostering a sense of unity and pride within our school community. It’s essential that all scholars wear their uniforms each day of the school week, as it helps create an environment of equality and focus, and growing together.

The FCS Employee Pension Board will hold its regular quarterly meeting at 2 p.m. on February 18 at the FCS North Learning Center, located at 450 Northridge parkway in Sandy Springs, Ga.

Each member of the Fulton County Board of Education sponsors a monthly meeting that is open to the public.
These meetings provide an opportunity for community members to have direct conversations with their elected board representative about local issues and concerns.

Students may use up to 5 Participating Remote Days per semester without it affecting their attendance, as long as they actively engage in classes remotely.
To request a Participating Remote Day, students must complete the official form using the link below:
Requirements:
- Submit the form before or on the day of the remote absence.
- Attend all scheduled classes virtually and participate fully.
- Days beyond the 5-day limit may impact attendance unless otherwise approved.
